Sneak Peek: Wishing the Best

I've been stuck on this hot pink color the last few days! I LOVE it!!! :) The stamp and sentiment I used are going to be released by Treehouse Stamps #www.TreehouseStamps.com) on Thursday, May 6th!

Summer Doodles is an adorable little stamp set that will be greatly used for anything! :)

I used my treehouse copic markers to color in the bee. The decorative paper is from Papertrey ink.

Handmade Gifts & Grant says “Dada”

Happy Friday! I’m shocked that today is the last day of April! Wow! So happy for the sunny months and warm weather! We are getting excited about our little vacation to Florida in a couple of weeks. It will be a nice family getaway. I can’t wait to put Grant’s toes in the sand for the first time. It will be SO CUTE! You know I’ll have videos and pictures of that when we return. LOL!

So…do you love digital stamp images yet? I sure do! They are SO much fun and you can do so many things using them. I just wanted to share a couple of unique projects I’ve made lately using the digi stamp sets. :)

The first one is a “Shell we Play?” onesie.  I used the crab from our “Shelled Friends” digi stamp set! I colored the image in using my Photoshop program (you can also use GIMP… which is a FREE program that you download online). I then printed the image and sentiment out on “transfer” paper. I bought it at hobby lobby. I think I got 7 sheets for $8 and then I had a 40% off coupon. Can’t beat that! :) Then I ironed it on a white onesie. It’s so cute and Grant will look adorable in it sitting on the beach! :)

The 2nd project I made was a bib. We were eating dinner one night and Stephen said, “They need to make bibs that say,"I’m not a messy eater… You’re a messy Feeder!”” I about cracked up. I didn’t really think much else about it until I found this cloth bib for $.99 and thought I could do something with it. I used the ants and watermelon from our “Life’s a Picnic” digi stamp set! I used the same transfer paper on this project and it came out SO CUTE! :)

Grant said "Dada" for the first time yesterday morning and I caught it on Camera!

I hope you’ve enjoyed these unique projects and the little video of Grant! :) I always bring his high chair in my stamp room so that he can sit next to me and eat his snacks & play while I’m still getting work done. :) I always feel guilty when I’m not giving him my 100% attention. So…the allows me to do both! :)

I’d Pick You…AGAIN!

Happy Sunday, Friends! I hope you're enjoying this beautiful weekend. :) Here is my card for today's featured stamper challenge. I LOVE Gloria's Gallery and I used THIS: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=129544 card as my inspiration! :)

I used the new "Picking You" stamp set that is available at Treehouse Stamps. I love this set and it makes perfect Mother's Day and Grandmother's cards. This sentiment is so true...and I will be giving this one to my mother for her Mother's Day card! :) I used my Treehouse Copic marker kits to color the main image.

There is nothing more precious than when your child hands you your first flower. Grant and Stephen were out in our yard a few weeks ago and Stephen gave Grant a little tulip from our garden to give to me. Even though he can't walk and give it to me yet... I still cried! It's the little things in life that truly matter! :)

Happy Saturday, Friends! I just wanted to share a card with you that I made Thursday for the Thursday SCS challenge & for a very good friend of mine. Grant and I went up to her house to visit with her and her daughter, Lilly! We had a fantastic time! Katrina was to find out YESTERDAY if she was having a boy or a girl! It’s a BOY!!! WOOHOO!! So she will be blessed with a Miss. Lilly and then their son around October 2nd! It’s so exciting that Grant will have another friend to grow up with. :)

I made this card for Trina to send them wishes and congrats! :) The SCS challenge was to mix patterns. So, I decided to mix what I would consider boy and girl patterned paper. :) I used the “Little Miracles” stamp set from Treehouse Stamps! I LOVE that bear and sentiment. I enjoyed coloring him with my Treehouse Copic Kit Markers. :)

Treehouse Thursday Challenge #034 |Featuring Kelly

Happy Thursday, Friends! Here is my card for today's Treehouse Thursday Challenge!! :) We were to use a Butterfly & Flowers! :) Today's Spotlight DT member is on Kelly Hampton. I cannot believe Kelly's strength and endurance! She broke her arm & is still stamping! How amazing is she?!?!?! So...make sure you head over to The Treehouse Blog & Check her out!! She even posted a picture of her arm in the purple cast! LOL! :-)

Mr. Grant Thomas helped mommy with her card today! I would give him choices of paper and images and he would grab the one he liked! It was hysterical!! Of course... he thought it was food and he tried to take it straight to his mouth, but it was still fun! :-) It isn't always the easiest thing in the world to do...stamping with a 5 month old in your lap! LOL! He's so active these days! :)

The images used in this card will be released TODAY over at www.TreehouseStamps.com! They will be available at NOON! :) They are actually digital images, but SO MUCH FUN! I absolutely love them! The decorative paper will also be a new item that will be available for purchase!

I hope you love it & like Grant's favorite picks! :) It's 12:40am here and I can hear him in the living room talking to daddy! LOL!! Here is actually a video I took of him tonight talked to daddy & I caught his little laugh on camera! A few nights ago he was laughing up a storm and I got so tickled that I could hardly breathe. I LOVE YOU!

Happy Tuesday, Friends! :) I hope you had a great day! Here is another card that I made SEVERAL days ago! LOL!!! I color when I'm watching Grant, watching TV, cooking dinner, etc! Then I try to find quick ways these days to get the cards put together at least one day a week! :o)

I used one of our new Digital Images "I LOVE YOU" for this card! I absolutely love this sentiment! :) I used regular Crayola Crayons to color the image! :) I added glassy glaze on the heart! :) I also added some stardust stickles dots to the background! :)  Super fast & EASY!!! :)

Our Weekend & Prayers Needed! :)

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you had a great weekend! Ours was SO BUSY!! I enjoyed spending time with my little family. We had a birthday party on Saturday and then went to an Indiana Pacers game in Indianapolis, IN Saturday night! :) Our friends JR & Summer Keith welcomed their beautiful daughter, Stella Grace, in to the world on Sunday!$ She is 6lbs. 12oz. and 18" long!  She actually came a full month early...just like Grant! She has been having a few difficulties with her lungs not being fully developed. She is currently in the NICU. Please keep them in your prayers!

Here is a 6"x6" card that I made Saturday morning before Grant woke up! LOL! I used the new bear from the "beary birthday" digital stamp set!! :) I LOVE that bear. I actually colored him with regular 'ol crayons! LOL! You can find all products used in this card on the Treehouse Stamps website! :)

Lilly's 1st Birthday! :)

Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day...or night I guess it is here now. LOL! My friends daughter, Lilly, turned 1 this past week. We all celebrated her first birthday together on Saturday. It was so much fun! Grant absolutely LOVES balloons! I loved watching her dig into her first birthday cake! LOL!

Happy Treehouse Thursday, Friends! I hope you're having a beautiful day! I wanted to share my project with you for this weeks challenge. I decided to use a large image of the Hugs and Kisses image from our new Chocoholic digital stamp set! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set!!! I used two of the new decorative papers available in our hearts & dots digital paper pack! I Absolutely love how it turned out. It will make one of my friends day much brighter! :)

Treehouse Thursday Challenge #032 (Circles)

                                 Happy Treehouse Thursday, Friends! :) I hope you're having a beautiful a week so far. Here is my card fro this week's Treehouse Thursday challenge!! :) This weeks challenge was to use circles. I used my nesties for the circle and the scalloped circle. I also added some dotted ribbon and some white dots on the scallops. Plus circle glitter dots as sprinkles on the yummy cupcake! :) I hope that you will join us this week in playing in our challenge! I have been in the Valentine card making spirit lately. LOL! I used lots of new goodies that will be released this THURSDAY, January 14th @ midnight over at Treehouse Stamps. The adorable Hugs & Kisses image is a part of a new DIGITAL stamp set called, "CHOCOHOLIC!"

Sneak Peeks & New Logo

              Happy Sunday, Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful weekend thus far. :) I've been extremely busy trying to catch up with company stuff. I feel like I get so behind on little stuff during the week. Grant is the love of my life, but you any of you that work from home & have had a 4 1/2 month old at home with you all day...understand! LOL!!!  I'm excited to show off our new fun and creative logo! I thought our old one needed a little change. I love the bright colors of this logo. I hope you do too! 

So, our next release will be this coming Thursday, January 14, 2010! I am so excited about this release. All of the stamps are in digital form. I will have a video showing how to use digital images. Happy Tuesday, Friends! I hope you're having a wonderful week so far! We are freezing here in Indiana. LOL! I'm sure most parts of the country are this week! I thought I would warm us all up with a nice hot latte!

Simple Picture Frame

   Happy Monday, Friends! I hope you had a lovely New Year's weekend! It's amazing how fast 2009 went...don't you think?! I was blessed with the greatest blessing of my life in 2009, Grant! He is the love of our lives. I look forward 2010 and watching him grow, learn, and change. :) What an amazing adventure!

I decided that I wanted to make a winter frame for one of our family Christmas photos. Of course... Grant wouldn't smile for the camera in any of our pictures...except that ones that I took! LOL! Oh Well! :)

I decorated a cardboard picture frame. I can't remember where I bought the picture frame. I believe Walmart or Hobby Lobby. I decorated the frame with paper from Basic Grey called Wassail. I love the snowflake paper so much!! :) I decided to add a little scallop medallion with the $1.00 spot polar bear and the word believe. :) I added lots and lots of stickles glitter to this project also! I hope you love it!!

Merry Christmas Eve

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVE!

Merry Christmas Eve, Friends!! We hope that you're having a beautiful week! We will be going up to my dad's parents for Christmas this afternoon. Then back to my parents house to celebrate Christmas and open gifts at MIDNIGHT! Yep Midnight! It's a tradition! LOL! Then we'll be back home to open presents Christmas morning with Stephen's family at our house. Then 2 more Christmas dinners Christmas day! It's a busy few days, but we love every second of it!! I just wanted to share a few pictures from Grant's first time sitting on Santa's lap today!! LOL! It looks like he's interviewing for the "Cutest" reindeer position! LOL!!! Personalized Stationary

Happy Wednesday, Friends! Here is another project that I've been working on...LOL! I'm making some simple stationary sets for a few family members & friends. You can never have enough little cards around the house in my opinion. I feel like I'm always looking for a little card to write a quick Thank You card, birthday card, or just a quick note to someone. :)

I ordered this beautiful stamp set from Taylored Expressions. It's called "Discover Your Wings." They donate 7.00 of each set that sells to Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation. After reading about this foundation...I HAD to buy this set. After suffering a miscarriage in September 2008...I can't even imagine dealing with the loss of a child in that way. All these parents have to hold on to are the memories of their babies. It made me cry instantly...and I knew I needed this stamp set! :) Plus...it is a beautiful set in every way!!! Taylor, if you're reading this... I # this set girl! :) I hope that you love this creation! More to come shortly! LOL!

Paper Pinecone Ornaments | 2009

Happy Wednesday, Friends! I hope you're having a beautiful week! :) Are you ready for Christmas? I have all of our Christmas presents wrapped and under the tree. I believe 95% of them are Grant's. LOL!

I've been busy this week trying to work on the handmade gifts that I haven't finished yet...which is most of them! LOL! I have been working on making these paper pinecone ornaments tonight while watching "Made of Honor" and listening to Grant coo at the television. LOL! SO CUTE! I love making them and look forward to it every Christmas.

Happy Saturday, Friends! I hope you're having a great day! Here is my card for today's SCS Inspiration Challenge!

I punched 9 different papers out of my Basic Grey "Eskimo Kisses" paper pad with my 1 1/4" square punch! :) I love that paper so much! You can now find it at Treehouse Stamps! :)

I added lots and lots of stickles to the elements of each of the different squares and even the scallop circle. The "Warm Holiday Wishes" is from Treehouse Stamps NEW "Cool Wishes" stamp set! I used my white gel pen to do faux stitching...and added white dots on the scallops & more glitter on top of them! There is a dimensional under the scallop!

Baby It's Cold Outside!

Happy Friday, Friends!!! :) We've made it through another week! Can you believe Christmas is only 2 weeks away from today?! I sure can't! LOL!!!

Well, I decided that I could combine 4 of this weeks challenges into 1 card!!! :) So, here is my card for this weeks CC248 challenge. We were to use Always Artichoke, Barely Banana, and Elegant Eggplant! Then I also did the WT248 challenge... which was to use a Christmas Song as our inspiration. I used "Baby It's Cold Outside!" Then I did the SC258 sketch challenge. Plus, today's LSC250 challenge to use a star in our project! :) I ended up using a small and large star stamps for the background. Then I used my large star punch for the left corner. The truth is... once I finished my card... I realized I put 2 sentiments (the same one) on the card in 2 spots! LOL! I had to figure out a way to cover one of them up! LOL!!! Oops! Mommy Brain!

I used the penguin and sentiment from the Treehouse Stamps new "Cool Wishes" stamp set! :) I added lots of liquid pearls, stickles, and scallops to this creation! :) I used my Copic Spica Pens that you can find at THS also to color in his scarf! :) I hope that you love it!

 Happy Wednesday, Friends! I hope you're having an absolutely wonderful week! Here's my project for this weeks Treehouse Stamps Thursday Challenge! :)  We were to create a tag for this week! :)  Mine could really be used at a tag for a gift or a Christmas ornament! :) I love how it turned out! The little guy in the photo totally helped me with this card! I had him in his bouncy seat next to me & I would show him everything & tell him exactly what I was doing! Grant would talk back to me the entire time! It was totally cute! Future stamper?!?! LOL!

I used the adorable new penguin & sentiment out of the new "Cool Wishes" stamp set released this week from Treehouse Stamps. Get your copy today! My Little Reindeer Baby & Card :)

 

Happy Wednesday, Friends!!! I know... this totally a late post tonight. LOL! I made this card today in honor of Grant's reindeer outfit. LOL! I love this moose stamp and you can now find it at Treehouse Stamps! :) I used my Treehouse Copic Kits to color in the image. I colored in the lights using my copic spica pens. The "Warm Holiday Wishes" sentiment came from the Treehouse Stamps "Cool Wishes" stamp set! :) The background decorative paper can also be found at Treehouse Stamps! :)

Happy Saturday, Friends! I hope you're having a beautiful weekend so far. I decided to take some time today and stamp! It felt great!! Hopefully I will have a little more time this weekend to create a few more projects to share with you. I really need to get started on my Christmas cards. LOL!!! I know...I'm behind...as always! :)

I ended up bringing out some of my old Stampin' Up! stamps for this card. I love how it turned out. The snowflakes in the background are embossed using clear embossing powder. I used spica pens from Treehouse Stamps to color in the noel & then outlined the letters with a yellow copic marker. I then added some pewter liquid pearls to the scallops & corners. I hope you like this!

I used 3 different challenges on this card! I used today's sketch challenge, yesterdays color challenge, and this weeks Treehouse Thursday Challenge! :) I cased my card of Cathleen! You can see her card here: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=156733

I stamped and embossed the background with chocolate ep.I'm sorry I'm a few days late on posting my card. I have gotten a little behind on sharing my projects. LOL!!! Especially since Grant has been sick & we took him to the hospital last Saturday. He is doing much better, but seems to only want mommy right now. LOL! Honestly...I don't mind! ;-) I used the Treehouse Stamps "Christmas Favorites" stamp set for this card. I colored the flower petals using my Treehouse Copic markers and then used a Copic Spica Clear Pen over top of them! It makes everything to glittery! Which we all know that I love! :)

Treehouse Thursday Challenge #025 (Christmas Colors)

 
  
Happy Thanksgiving, Friends!!! :) I hope you're having a beautiful day so far!! I thought I would get my card posted before we head out to spend the entire day with our awesome family! :)

 

Today's Treehouse Challenge was to use: Real Red, Old Olive, Black, & White. I love this color combo! Absolutely perfect for Christmas cards! Can you believe that Christmas is officially less than a month away?!?! LOL! I can't!!!! :o) 

 

I used the poinsetta out of Treehouse Stamps "Christmas Favorites" stamp set. I colored it using our Copic Kits. The poinsetta and black scallop are up on dimensionals. I added some basic grey dp to the background. Also added liquid pearls to all of the scallops! :) On the background I used the little holly leaf out of the "Christmas Cupcake" stamp set. The Inside and outside sentiments are from our "Christmas Greetings" stamp set.

I decided to make a little candy cane holder! :) I used my circle and scallop circle spellbinder nesties to create this! :) I used the paper piercing technique using basic grey's Wassail Paper on the poinsettia! :) The beautiful flower can be found in the "Christmas Favorites" stamp set from Treehouse Stamps! :)

Cupcake Christmas & DT Call

Howdy Friends! Well, I finally had a chance to stamp for the first time in almost 6 weeks! :) I'm a week late on doing this color challenge, but better late than never! :) We were supposed to use Bravo Burgundy, Very Vanilla, and Kraft. I'm out of BB...so I used ruby red instead. It's close, but not exact.

I used the adorable Christmas Cupcake stamp from Treehouse Stamps. :) I did the paper piercing technique on it. All the papers can be found at Treehouse Stamps. They are from the Basic Grey Wassail Paper Pad! :) I added some liquid pearls to add a little more class to this card. :) I hope you like it!

Happy Thursday, Friends! Today is a day for remembering the Pregnancy and Infant Loss victims around the world. I just went through a miscarriage 1 year ago. It is so painful to know that statics show 1 in 3 FIRST PREGNANCIES end in miscarriage!  I wish I didn't have to know that pain, but apparently God has another plan for me.

 

I feel beyond blessed to have my beautiful new amazing son, Grant! But I still remember the one I lost. I hope that you will light a candle at 7pm today in remembrance of all the pregnancy and infant losses around the world.
