BIG NEWS… We’re Closing!

Happy Monday, Friends!

I decided that it was time to share the big news with you that Treehouse Stamps is closing its doors. We haven't set the date for sure, but we know that it will most likely be the end of January.  Life has become so busy with Grant running around and I feel like there just isn't enough time in the day to do everything. I have new adventures going on behind the scene that will allow me to carry forward my love for stamping & designing, but will also allow me to enjoy my husband and family time much more. I decided that 2011 is about getting back to myself and my family. The first step to this is letting something go that I struggle to keep up with. There are days that I can't remember when the last time I slept was or what I did the day before... it has all became too much for one person to handle.  I can't give Treehouse Stamps 100% of my time right now and that isn't fair to me or my customers.

We will be hosting huge sales in the weeks to follow until all of our stock is gone and off the shelves. All orders that have backorders will be filled this week/early next and shipped out. Those that the products (spellbinders) have not arrived in time...we will be doing refunds. Please email us if you have any questions. :)

We truly appreciate all of the years you have given us. It is our hope to return one day and that the stamping world will continue to strive. Thanks for everything you have done over the past 3 1/2 years!

Warm Hearts & Thoughts

Happy Sunday, Friends! I just wanted to share a quick card with you that I made with the new AMOR stamp set that is now available! Just in time for you to create those adorable Valentine’s Day cards! February 14th will be here before we know it. I’m still having a hard time realizing that it is already 2011! LOL!

I used my Copic Markers to color in my hearts. I popped the center heart up on a dimensional and added some glitter. I have fallen in LOVE with circle cards. They are my FAVORITE these days.

A Little Blue and Silver

Happy Saturday, Friends! I hope you’re having a beautiful weekend thus far. I wanted to share a quick Christmas card with you. :) I made this over a week ago and still hadn’t uploaded it. I feel like if I can stamp…I’m always running behind. I guess that’s a mommy’s life with an energetic 13 month old. Grant is hysterical these days, but we might have to take away all of the riding toys in his room. He’s became a daredevil and loves to stand up on them. Scares me to death! He’s fallen a few times and his little bruised forehead proves it! :(

Anyways! We had a blue & silver tree for years. In 2008 we miscarried our 1st baby in September and I decided that year that I needed a change. So… for 2008 and 2009 we had a tree with colorful lights and colorful ornaments! :) I didn’t know it, but I was pregnant with Grant for our 2008 Christmas. :) Miracles do happen! :)

I made a quick little card using our new “Peace on Earth” stamp set. :) I colored the image with my Treehouse Copic Markers. :) I also added stickles to the ornaments, star, and garland. I made my garland silver. This is such a quick and easy card to make and it measures 4.25” x 4.25”. It is easy to replicate… I always try to make 5 or 10 of a card at a time. That way… it goes a lot faster! LOL!!! :)

Fall Blessings for a Friend!

Happy Friday, Friends! Hooray for the end of the week…huh?! LOL! I just have a quick little project to share with you. I made this card for Wednesday’s SCS sketch challenge. I love this sketch. How fun! I replaced the box with the scallop circle though. :) We are getting closer to the first day of Fall…so I thought this would be a perfect card to send to a friend.

I used the pumpkin & sentiment from the Treehouse Stamps new “Fall Blessings” stamp set. I colored the pumpkin with my Treehouse Copic Kit Markers. Then I added stickles to the ground & the curly cues. :)

I also tried something new on this card that I had never done before…Ruffled Ribbon technique from SCS! I love how it turned out and I plan on doing in again in the future. I used some Ribbon that Treehouse Stamps carries! :)

Well, I better get to bed. I hope you’ve enjoyed this project & I plan on getting some tutorials put together for you this weekend. :)

Dino-Boy Sneak Peek & Nesties

Happy Friday, Friends! The last Friday in July! We end the month of July with a wedding & 3 different birthdays to attend! LOL! I’m sure we won’t make it to everything tomorrow, but we’re going to do our best. LOL!

I just wanted to share another sneak peek with you. This adorable little scary dino-boy will be released on August 4th @ midnight with the rest of the new sets! :) You will be able to mix and match sentiments from the “Halloween Extras” stamp set which is where the treat bag and sentiments will be found. There will be several costumed “individuals” released this time! :)

Happy Memorial Day 2010

Happy Memorial Day!

I hope that you are spending the day with your loved ones remembering the heroes that we've lost and enjoying the ones that are among us. :) My husbands Grandpa was in WWII. He was shot in his leg on his 21st birthday and ended up getting to come back home with being awarded the Purple Heart. He's 86 years old and we try to enjoy him every second we can. :) Grant is so lucky to have his Great-Grandparents with him still. I take tons of pictures of him with them. It's amazing! The other day Grant even recognized Grandpa's WWII army picture hanging up on the wall. He reached out and touched it. It was a very touching moment for all that witnessed it....even his Great-Grandpa...the one in the photo. I caught it on camera. :) I loved today's CAS (Clear & Simple) challenge. We were to use the theme: Heroes. I used the Cupcake and Sentiment from Treehouse Stamps new Stars and Stripes set. I doodled around the edges and added stickles all over after finished up the doodles and coloring the main image.

Beacon of Hope…

  Happy Saturday, Friends! I hope you had a great week. Mine was spent mending Mr. Grant. His medicine is really helping and each day he seems to be getting back to being his own little self again. :) What are your plans for this Memorial Day if you live in the United States? We have a family dinner tonight with Stephen’s family…so that will be fun! :) Not sure what we’re going to do the rest of the weekend though. Hopefully get some house cleaning done and relax a bit.

I just wanted to share a project with you that I made days ago and just never had a chance to get it posted. :) I used the main image from our new “Beacon of Hope” stamp set. I love this set and the main image is one of my favorites. I decided for the background I wanted something different. I used 3 different copic marker colors and dabbed them on to my white cardstock. :) It’s kind of funky…but that’s okay!  I used two different ribbons together to make the big ribbon. I added liquid pearls to the scallops on the main scallop circle.

Treehouse Thursday Challenge #051 | Sketch

Happy Thursday, Friends! It’s time for another Treehouse Thursday Challenge! :-) I was running behind tonight trying to get my project finished. Poor Mr. Grant is sick. :( I took him to the doctor today and he’s on 2 different medicines. I’m praying they kick in quickly and cure my little guy up.

I decided to use on of the newly released stamp sets available at Treehouse Stamps today! :) I love this “embrace life” stamp set. The rose is my favorite! :) I used my Treehouse Copic Marker kits to color in the main image. I added stickles around the petals of the rose. I also added liquid pearls to the scallops & for the 3 dots at the ends of the kiwi kiss cardstock pieces.

We’re back & a Sneak Peek

Happy Tuesday, Friends! I hope you are all doing wonderfully! We are finally back from vacation. I’m slowly working through emails and all orders should be shipped out and caught up by tomorrow or Wednesday at the latest! :) We had a great time in Florida and Grant loved the pool and the sand. He wasn’t so sure about the ocean though. LOL! I have around 500 pictures to work through…so I will try to share a few that I took with you at the end of this post. :)

I just wanted to share a quick card with you that I made tonight. I feel like I haven’t stamped in weeks. I thought I would go ahead and make a sneak peek card for you. This stamp set will be released this Thursday @ midnight! :) I hope that you love it. It is a fun octopus with 4 different sentiments. I used my Treehouse Copic Marker kits to color in the image. I added stickles to the dots around the octopus. I also added some dew drops and liquid pearls. :) I hope that you like this card. It’s super simple, but hopefully it will make some one smile. :)

Sneak Peek | Simple Aloha

 

Aloha Friends! Happy Wednesday! I hope your week is going wonderfully. I just wanted to share a quick sneak peek with you of a stamp set being released tonight at midnight by Treehouse Stamps! :) I love this set so much and it can work for so many projects!

I colored the main image in with my Treehouse Copic Kit Markers. :) Then I cut out a second flower and layered it over top of the original using a pop up glue dot. I punched out the scalloped squares from some scrap paper. Then I added some lovely faux stitching and then TONS of liquid pearls. Gotta love liquid pearls! LOL!! :)
